The Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award is for large organizations (No. of employees 250 and above) and Small (No. of employees 9 –49) and Medium (No. of employees 50 –249) organizations established in any of the GCC Countries (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and UAE). The winners are nominated from each country through the chairman and members of the Board of Trustees.The nomination of this award depends on the company obtaining the first ranks in Forbes Magazine.

Exercise its economic activity in any of the above mentioned GCC Countries.
Must have a valid license (based on economic activity), a membership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in any of the GCC countries and/or a valid license from any Free Zone Authorities in the GCC.
A minimum of three years of operation.
Sound and clear financial and legal standing.
Re-winning in the award is recommended after 2 cycles from date of ceremony.
Valid copy of its Economic Activity License.
Valid copy of Membership (Any Chamber of Commerce & Industry in GCC)
